Jenny Sebold

Hello, my name is Jenny—founder of Wyldling Floral Craft & Mercantile, and floral designer by way of instinct, memory, and a lifelong devotion to wild beauty. My story with flowers began long before I knew it would be my work in the world. As a child, I was constantly creating—gathering moss, feathers, stones, blossoms, and bits of bark to build tiny altars on the forest floor or transform a dinner table into something enchanted. I saw beauty everywhere and wanted to arrange the world into something meaningful. My childhood took me across many landscapes. We moved often—from the cherry blossoms of Japan to the tropical magic of Hawaii, the coastal bloom of California, to the deep woods of New England and the flowering gardens of D.C. Each place left its imprint, deepening my connection to the natural world and shaping how I see and feel with flowers to this day. Over twenty years ago, I worked at the original Pink Shutter flower shop in Vermont, not knowing that one day I would become its owner. Life took me into motherhood, graphic design, and creative direction, but florals were always with me—woven into rituals, celebrations, and everyday moments. During the quiet of 2020, I sat in meditation and heard it clearly: you can do the flowers on your own. That same day, I learned the Pink Shutter was for sale. Two weeks later, I had the keys—and Wyldling began to take shape. Our floral work is seasonal, custom, and emotionally resonant. We forage respectfully, source locally whenever possible, lean into imperfection and organic form, and create arrangements that hold space for truth—whether joyful, sacred, tender, or transformative. Our work is emotionally attuned and richly textured—floral design for the wild-hearted. At Wyldling, beauty isn’t just aesthetic—it’s energetic. We believe flowers are empathic beings. They honor life. They soften grief. They heighten joy. And they invite us into the present. It’s a sacred practice. One I’m endlessly honored to share.
